Fimmvörðuháls Hiking Package (private room)

Join us on the incredibly beautiful Fimmvörðuháls hike. The night  before the hike you will stay at Midgard Base Camp. During the evening  the guide will gather the group for a briefing. The next day after  breakfast the group is driven to Skógar waterfall where the stunning  Fimmvörðuháls hike starts.

The Skógá river is followed (with 20+ waterfalls) and then we hike  between Eyjafjallajokull Glacier (of 2010 fame) and Myrdalsjokull  Glacier (with Katla below). We cross the 2010 volcanic area, its lavas  still warm with the two new craters Magni and Móði standing proud.  Descending into the beautiful Þórsmörk Nature Reserve, here it is like  standing atop the world, looking down on an unimaginable, glorious  creation.

A hamburger barbecue and cold beer/soda will await the group in  Þórsmörk. The group is then driven back to Midgard Base Camp where you  can relax tired muscles in the rooftop hot tub and then continue  celebrating at the bar. When ready you enjoy another good night’s sleep  at Midgard Base Camp.
